About The Position
Smize Pro Med Spa is seeking a skilled, compassionate, and professional Bilingual Massage Therapist to provide personalized massage treatments that promote relaxation, relieve muscle tension, and enhance clients’ overall well-being. The role requires communicating effectively in English and Spanish and delivering exceptional customer service in a welcoming, luxurious, and relaxing environment. The therapist will tailor treatments to clients’ needs and wellness goals, conduct consultations, provide education and aftercare recommendations, maintain a clean and safe treatment space, and accurately document treatments while protecting client confidentiality. The position also involves building positive client relationships, collaborating with other spa professionals, and staying informed about massage techniques and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Valid Massage Therapist license in the state of Florida.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish.
- Successful completion of an accredited massage therapy program.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic massage techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and commitment to exceptional client care.
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality and uphold professional standards.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working in a medical spa, luxury spa, or wellness center.
- Experience performing Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and relaxation massages.
- Additional certifications in specialized massage techniques or wellness therapies.
- Experience working with a diverse clientele.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, personalized massage therapy services tailored to each client's needs and wellness goals.
- Conduct professional client consultations to assess concerns, preferences, and treatment expectations.
- Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and therapeutic massage.
- Communicate effectively with clients in both English and Spanish.
- Educate clients on massage benefits, aftercare recommendations, and wellness practices.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and relaxing treatment environment in accordance with sanitation and safety standards.
- Accurately document client treatments, preferences, and progress while maintaining confidentiality.
- Build positive relationships with clients to encourage satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat visits.
- Collaborate with other spa professionals to ensure a seamless and exceptional client experience.
- Stay informed about current massage techniques, spa treatments, and industry best practices.
