Bilingual Manufacturing Safety Technician

In this role as a Safety Technician here at JLG, you will play a vital part in maintaining a safe and compliant workplace by conducting industrial hygiene evaluations, developing and delivering safety training, and serving as a trusted safety and environmental resource across our production facility. Your expertise will help drive continuous improvement in regulatory compliance, injury prevention, and best practices company-wide.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Safety, Health, or Environmental field
- 1-plus years of environmental and/or safety experience
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform basic statistical analysis and interpret data
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a manufacturing/production facility
- Background in environmental regulations
- Must be willing to travel to various plant locations
Responsibilities
- Conducting industrial hygiene evaluations in manufacturing facilities
- Developing and teaching safety and environmental training sessions
- Serving as an internal safety and environmental consultant to all JLG locations
- Maintain all industrial hygiene equipment, including maintenance and calibrations
- Assist with gathering and reporting on company injury statistics
- Assist with JLG Safety and Environmental Compliance Program review
- Perform site visits to improve regulatory compliance and best practices
