About The Position

Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) is seeking a full-time (35 hours per week) bilingual (English/Spanish) Clinician to join their Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) team in Yonkers. This role involves providing comprehensive mental health services to community members with psychiatric diagnoses within a licensed outpatient mental health facility. The position operates under a hybrid model based on clinic needs. The salary range is $75,000-$85,000, determined by licensure, with opportunities for supplemental income.

Requirements

Masters Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited school.
Possession of New York State licensure (LMSW, LMHC, or LCSW).
Familiarity and experience with evidenced-based treatments, knowledge of modern principles of social work, prior experience with children, community mental health, and/or co-occurring disorders.
Bilingual English/Spanish.
Ability to provide evening coverage as required - generally twice per week.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive intake assessment and develop written treatment plan with the client (collaborative documentation) in compliance with OMH regulations.
Provide appropriate clinical documentation and agency reports (e.g. clinician’s schedule, treatment plans) in a timely and appropriate manner.
Provide treatment in evidence-based modalities, including individual, family, and group therapy.
Attend agency in-service training and staff meetings.
Provide late night coverage as required.
File timely insurance claim forms and maintain other necessary contacts with insurance companies.
Consult with other members of the team, as necessary.
