About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and culturally attuned Bilingual Leasing Agent to serve as the primary point of contact for our diverse clientele within the property management sector. This pivotal role is dedicated to facilitating the leasing process for residential units, with a specialized focus on engaging Spanish-speaking communities. The ideal candidate will leverage their fluency in both English and Spanish to build strong relationships with prospective tenants, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience from initial inquiry through lease signing. This position is instrumental in maintaining high occupancy rates and upholding the reputation of our properties by delivering exceptional customer service and efficient administrative support.

Requirements

• Native or near-native fluency in both Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate complex leasing concepts clearly in both languages.
• Proven experience in property management, leasing, or customer service, preferably within the residential real estate sector.
• Proficiency with Yardi Voyager or similar property management software platforms for data entry, reporting, and lease administration.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build rapport with individuals from various cultural backgrounds.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate tenant needs and property showings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive property showings and tours for potential residents, highlighting amenities and features in both English and Spanish to meet diverse client needs.
• Manage the full leasing lifecycle, including screening applications, conducting background checks, and preparing lease agreements for qualified candidates.
• Serve as the first line of communication for tenant inquiries, resolving concerns promptly and professionally while maintaining accurate records in the Yardi property management system.
• Foster a welcoming environment for Spanish-speaking applicants by providing all necessary documentation and guidance in their preferred language.
• Collaborate with the maintenance and operations teams to ensure properties are presented in top condition for prospective tenants.
• Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to recommend competitive rental rates that maximize occupancy and revenue.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with all fair housing laws and company policies during all tenant interactions.
