About The Position

Our team is committed to accountability, growth, and meaningful change for the individuals we serve. We are seeking passionate, motivated professionals to provide case management and direct support services to justice-involved clients. This role focuses on supporting individuals who are on probation and/or re-entering the community after incarceration, helping them successfully engage in treatment and community-based services. The position includes providing both direct and indirect services to individuals involved in the criminal justice system, with an emphasis on engagement, coordination of care, and promoting long-term stability and positive outcomes.

Requirements

  • Preference for this position is bilingual/Spanish.
  • Master’s degree in forensic psychology, social work, counseling or a related field with clinical training is preferred. A Bachelor’s Degree and 1 years of experience in forensic psychology and substance abuse disorders may also be considered.
  • A genuine desire for providing forensic services and comfort with working with criminal populations.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekend and holiday hours.
  • Minimum of 2 years working in the behavioral health field with at least one year working with justice involved clients.
  • Ability to be attentive to detail.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and meet all identified timelines.
  • Ability to be a self-starter and creative in identifying solutions to problems; knowing when to inform supervisor when obstacles arise.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work with people from a variety of diverse agencies, backgrounds, resources, and communities.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Must pass background check.
  • This position will require working evening hours, several days until 7pm.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between the agency and the referring entity.
  • Receive, process and track all incoming program referrals.
  • Outreach and engage justice involved clients and schedule intakes.
  • Complete initial screenings and assessments.
  • Check clients in for group sessions and services.
  • Collect and track client copays.
  • Assist clients with obtaining needed resources.
  • Clearly communicate to the client what they can expect from the service and what the agency will expect of them.
  • Track client engagement and follow up with clients and referring agents regarding client engagement.
  • Assure there is cross system coordination of services and that services are being provided.
  • Provides direct services to clients either group, individual, case management or skills training.
  • Meets productivity and complies with all policies and procedures of justice related contracts and programs.
