About The Position
We are sharing a specialised consulting opportunity for bilingual psychologists with doctoral-level expertise, strong clinical and academic foundations, and native or near-native fluency in Japanese and English to contribute to advanced AI training and psychological evaluation initiatives. Selected professionals will analyse psychological case materials, develop culturally appropriate bilingual scenarios, evaluate AI-generated content for psychological accuracy and ethical alignment, and help ensure nuanced psychological concepts remain faithful across Japanese and English. No prior AI experience is required; professional psychology expertise and bilingual communication are the primary qualifications.
Requirements
- PhD in Psychology
- Demonstrated experience in both clinical and academic psychology settings
- Native or near-native fluency in Japanese and English
- Strong command of psychological terminology in both languages
- Experience analysing psychological assessments and case studies
- Strong understanding of ethical decision-making in psychology
- Excellent analytical and critical-thinking abilities
- Ability to recognise cultural and contextual factors affecting psychological interpretation
- Experience developing or evaluating psychological scenarios and assessment materials
- Exceptional written communication skills in Japanese and English
- Strong verbal communication across professional and interdisciplinary settings
- Ability to translate nuanced psychological concepts without losing meaning
- Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and adaptability in multicultural environments
- Familiarity with digital collaboration and documentation tools
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
