About The Position

We are looking for a motivated, results-driven Bilingual Insurance Sales Representative who is fluent in English and Spanish to join our team. This position is focused on building relationships with prospective and existing customers, identifying insurance needs, and recommending appropriate products and coverage options. The bilingual representative will help us better serve both English- and Spanish-speaking customers by providing clear, professional communication throughout the insurance sales process. The ideal candidate is confident communicating in both languages, comfortable asking for the sale, and motivated by achieving individual and team goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish required.
• Ability to communicate professionally in both languages verbally and in writing.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable making outbound calls, following up with leads, overcoming objections, and asking for the sale.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work toward individual and team performance goals.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Detail-oriented with consistent follow-through.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all required insurance licenses.

Nice To Haves

• Previous sales, customer service, insurance, or financial services experience preferred.
• Insurance sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with customers in both English and Spanish.
• Develop new business by connecting with prospective customers through phone, email, referrals, leads, and other outreach opportunities.
• Build relationships with customers to understand their insurance and financial protection needs.
• Provide insurance quotes and clearly explain products, coverage options, discounts, and services in the customer's preferred language.
• Recommend appropriate insurance solutions based on individual customer needs.
• Follow up consistently with leads, prospects, and quoted customers to convert opportunities into new business.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell additional insurance products to existing customers.
• Conduct account conversations to identify coverage gaps and additional protection opportunities.
• Educate English- and Spanish-speaking customers on insurance products and services so they can make informed decisions.
• Meet or exceed individual and team sales, production, activity, and conversion goals.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of leads, customer interactions, quotes, follow-ups, and sales activities in the CRM system.
• Provide a professional and positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
• Collaborate with service team members and other departments to ensure a smooth transition from new business to ongoing account servicing.
• Stay current on insurance products, company policies, underwriting guidelines, industry regulations, and product updates.
