About The Position

Rugby Architectural Building Products is a wholesale distributor of specialty building products, operating out of 26 branches throughout the United States. Our primary business is non-structural architectural grade building products sold principally to customers who create and produce end-products for the commercial, industrial, retail, residential and institutional markets. Join our expanding team as a Bilingual Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative at Rugby Architectural Building Products. In this important role, you'll drive sales growth and uphold our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our valued customers.

Requirements

  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Previous inside sales representative experience, preferably in the building materials or construction industry. Alternatively, served as a customer service representative in similar industries.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Communication is factual, polite, and professional in nature
  • Reserved, yet people focused.
  • Strong focus on repeatable, very high-quality results, and use customer-focused mindset to solve problems.
  • Knowledge of Rugby's product offerings or a willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Prefer a steady, even pace of work, with a lot of predictability.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a customer service representative: you will build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers through effective communication and exceptional service.
  • Engage our customers and sell our product through email, phone, and occasionally in person.
  • Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Rugby's product offerings to provide expert advice and recommendations to customers.
  • Efficiently and accurately process customer orders, ensuring the timely delivery of products while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Take sales orders, preparing accurate price quotes and proposals for customers, negotiating terms when necessary.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and professional manner, striving for prompt resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and results, using CRM software as required.
