This position serves as support for the Family Assistance Center (FAC) at the Jewish Renaissance Foundation (JRF). FAC provides emergency assistance and family mentoring for community members as well as food through “My Choice Store”. The Intake Coordinator serves as the main point of contact for FAC participants including “My Choice Store”, assists the Case Managers and Choice Store Coordinator to assess eligibility for services. This position is chiefly responsible for the following core functions and performs other tasks as needed: Customer Service to greet participants in person and over the phone. Collect information and documents to determine eligibility for services and refer to the appropriate person for services within the organization or community partner. Enter data and upload documents into EmpowOR, our data management system. Communicate detailed information to FAC staff that accurately depicts the current situation of the participant/family. Track and report statistics about those calling in for assistance.
