About The Position

Mangone Law Firm, LLC is seeking a motivated, bilingual English-Spanish Immigration Staff Attorney to join its frontline legal team. The New Jersey-based firm represents immigrants nationwide and focuses on helping clients obtain legal status in the United States. The attorney will manage a full caseload, meet directly with clients, and work with paralegals, support staff, and community partners to provide legal service and compassionate care. The role includes developing individualized legal strategies; reviewing immigration application packets, declarations, and motions; providing feedback to paralegals and legal assistants; and representing clients in Adjustment of Status interviews before USCIS. The attorney will also provide team guidance as Attorney of the Day, attend operational meetings, and participate in Consultation Day Events. The stated workload is 45 to 50 hours per week.

Requirements

• Active U.S. Bar license.
• At least 2 years of attorney experience reviewing complex immigration cases, including T-Visa, VAWA, U-Visa, and SIJS matters.
• Native or fluent proficiency in both English and Spanish.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, and immigration case management systems, including Camplegal.
• Growth-oriented, can-do attitude focused on continuous improvement and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work 45 to 50 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Develop personalized legal strategies aligned with each client’s legal circumstances.
• Review application packets, declarations, and motions for family-based petitions, consular processing, T-Visas, SIJS, VAWA, and waivers.
• Grade and provide constructive feedback to paralegals and legal assistants to support accurate and timely document delivery.
• Conduct initial reviews to identify legal issues.
• Represent clients in Adjustment of Status interviews before USCIS.
• Serve as Attorney of the Day by providing legal guidance to the team.
• Attend operational meetings.
• Participate in Consultation Day Events.
