About The Position

Lincoln-Goldfinch Law is seeking a Bilingual Immigration Attorney to serve as the legal backbone of their sales team. This remote, full-time role involves providing real-time legal guidance to non-attorney Sales Consultants during client consultations, ensuring accuracy and ethical soundness in legal advice. The attorney will not manage a caseload, appear in court, or meet directly with clients. This position is ideal for an attorney who enjoys immigration law and wants to apply their expertise in an advisory capacity, supporting the sales process and contributing to the firm's mission of helping immigrant families.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, required
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
  • Active bar license in good standing
  • 2+ years of immigration law experience
  • Strong knowledge of family-based and humanitarian-based immigration matters
  • Strong knowledge of USCIS processes and immigration eligibility requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts to non-attorneys
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable in an advisory, non-litigating role rather than direct client representation
  • Comfortable learning and utilizing new technologies
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace or similar business software

  • Experience working collaboratively with sales, intake, or non-legal teams a plus

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the on-call legal resource for Sales Consultants before, during, and after client consultations.
  • Help consultants assess prospective clients' immigration options in real time, including family-based petitions, humanitarian relief, naturalization, waivers, and other benefits.
  • Flag red flags, complications, or unusual fact patterns that need a closer legal read before a case is sold.
  • Review consultation notes and case facts to confirm the legal strategy being presented to prospective clients is sound.
  • Train and coach the sales team on immigration law fundamentals.
  • Build and maintain talking points, scripts, and reference materials that translate legal concepts into clear, sales-ready language.
  • Run regular refreshers on policy changes and how they affect what the sales team can tell prospective clients.
  • Ensure every representation made to a prospective client during the sales process is legally accurate and ethically sound.
  • Partner with the Legal Director to keep sales-facing guidance aligned with current law and firm standards.
  • Stay current on immigration laws, regulations, and policy changes and translate what matters for the sales process.
  • Work closely with Sales Consultants, Intake, and firm leadership to improve the quality and accuracy of the consultation-to-hire process.
  • Contribute to process improvements that increase conversion quality and reduce legally inaccurate promises to prospective clients.
  • Provide feedback that helps the sales team spot cases that are a strong legal fit for the firm.
