Bilingual IHBS Therapist
About The Position
Northeast Family Services is seeking Clinicians to join our growing team in Massachusetts! We are looking for talented and enthusiastic therapists interested in enhancing the mental wellness of people within our community. NFS values your experience delivering competent mental health services to individuals and families who are experiencing varying levels of difficulties due to life situations or mental health concerns. This is a great opportunity for a newly licensed Master's level clinician as we provide supervision for Independent Licensure. Independent licensed clinicians will have opportunities to expand their skillsets. The Bilingual In Home Behavioral Therapist (IHBS) will provide structured, consistent, strength-based therapeutic interventions in a client’s home for the purpose of treating a youth’s behavioral needs. IHBS Therapists support caregivers to better understand their children's needs by exploring patterns of behavior and improving communication. We offer Full Time or FFS hours and have updated rates to ensure you earn what you're worth, doing what you love!
Requirements
- Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, special education or related CBHI approved degree program
- Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese-Required
- Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle
- Access to secured high speed internet required.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, youth and families in a home or community setting highly desirable
- Experience working with children diagnosed with behavioral-emotional disorders preferred
- Experience with working with children on the autism spectrum desirable
- Bilingual - Fluent in English and Spanish a plus
