About The Position

The Human Resources Generalist provides front-line HR support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, serving as a primary point of contact for employees and supporting nearly 500 team members across the facility. This role manages HRIS data, onboarding, payroll support, benefits inquiries, and employee relations while partnering closely with leadership on policy implementation and employee communications. It offers broad exposure across multiple HR functions, significant visibility within the organization, and hands-on experience that supports long-term growth into senior HR leadership roles.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of human resources experience in an HR generalist or similar role.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on HRIS experience, preferably with systems such as UKG or Kronos.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong skills in Excel, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and formulas.
  • Experience with HR administration, onboarding, payroll support, and general HR systems.
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update employee information within the HRIS, with a preference for experience in UKG or Kronos systems.
  • Process new hire transactions and employee record changes accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Perform timesheet corrections and provide ongoing payroll support to ensure accurate and timely pay.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding, ensuring a positive and thorough introduction to the organization.
  • Answer employee questions regarding benefits, payroll, HR systems, and company policies in a clear and professional manner.
  • Assist employees with HR systems and self-service tools, helping them navigate and use HR technology effectively.
  • Support employee communications, including participation in town hall meetings and company-wide initiatives.
  • Maintain confidential personnel records and handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
  • Partner with management on policy implementation and employee relations matters, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Serve as a trusted, front-line HR resource and first point of contact for HR-related issues across the facility.
  • Balance administrative responsibilities with employee-facing activities, including orientations, training support, and engagement initiatives.
  • Support HRIS-related activities such as payroll corrections, employee data management, and onboarding transactions, dedicating a significant portion of time to system work.
  • Participate in company-wide meetings and town halls to support communication, engagement, and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Help maintain an employee-focused HR environment by building strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Contribute to a growing HR team by sharing insights, supporting continuous improvement, and adapting to evolving business needs.
