About The Position

This role involves overseeing various human resource functions for assigned facilities, ensuring compliance with state and federal employment laws, and supporting team objectives. The HR Generalist will manage the hiring process, employee terminations, HRIS systems, personnel files, and payroll reporting. They will also coordinate benefit administration, manage HR reporting, administer evaluation and training processes, and implement corporate HR policies. Additional responsibilities may include managing workers' compensation claims, participating in the Environmental Health and Safety program, and supporting HR management at operating facilities as needed. Adherence to TS16949 and ISO 14001 requirements is also expected.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the interview and hiring process including resume review, screening, and interview scheduling and checking references and completing orientation.
  • Oversee and administer employee termination processes adhering to State and Federal employment laws.
  • Manage HRIS for assigned locations and create and manage active and inactive personnel files within the guidance of employment law and best practices.
  • Timely reporting of Payroll information to central payroll for hourly and salary.
  • Maintenance of site specific KPI’s.
  • Completes payroll and coordinates benefit administration with Central HQ Payroll and Benefits.
  • Manage and maintain Human Resource measures and reporting for assigned facility(s).
  • Coordinates recognition programs.
  • Administer evaluation, training, and development processes.
  • Administer and implement corporate wide Human Resource Administration instructions, protocols, and practices, integral in recommending updates and reviews based on changing laws and circumstances.
  • Ensures implementation and administration of Corporate Human Resource Policy and Procedures.
  • May administer workers compensation claims and serve as liaison to Worker’s Compensation insurance administration.
  • May be involved in the Environmental Health and Safety Program to include coordination of training, and maintenance of training records.
  • Accepts assignments and other responsibilities as required to support team objectives, Including but not limited to Human Resource Management at the Operating facilities when required.
  • Adheres to applicable TS16949 requirements.
  • Required to adhere to safety and environmental (ISO 14001) requirements as established by company policy.
