About The Position

MasterCorp, Inc. is seeking a Bilingual Housekeeping Operations Training Manager to join their team. This role focuses on assessing training needs, developing action plans, and supporting operations effectiveness at all site levels within the hospitality industry. The Training Manager will diagnose issues, enhance managerial capabilities, and implement action-driven training solutions to elevate performance. This position also involves implementing new training initiatives in partnership with the Learning and Development (L&D) team and serving as a subject matter expert (SME) on MasterCorp best practices. The role reports to Resort Operations Divisional Leadership and acts as a strategic partner to field teams, contributing to talent development and operational goals. Bilingual English/Spanish is required, and the position involves heavy travel (approximately 50% monthly, including overnights and weekends). Location preference is Myrtle Beach or Hilton Head, SC, or the greater Williamsburg, VA area.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, HR, or related field or equivalent relatable work experience.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in operations leadership, training management, or similar roles focused on enhancing site performance within the hospitality industry.
  • Conversationally fluent in English and Spanish or Creole.
  • Effective knowledge of adult learning principles, presentation skills and demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Strong proven ability to diagnose training needs and develop tailored action plans in collaboration with site leaders.
  • Ability to solve problems within scope of responsibility in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ability to self-manage schedule and time effectively and efficiently.
  • Proficient in learning technologies, Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Assess training needs and develop action plans to support operations effectiveness at all site levels.
  • Enhance managerial capabilities and apply action-driven training solutions to elevate performance.
  • Implement newly developed training initiatives in partnership with the Learning and Development (L&D) team.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on MasterCorp best practices.
  • Utilize learning technologies to measure and enhance the effectiveness of training initiatives and track learning completion.
  • Apply advanced methods to measure training effectiveness and recommend refinements based on site-specific feedback.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to site leaders to create and execute operations action plans that enhance site effectiveness.
  • Ensure alignment and consistency in leadership development strategies in partnership with HR Business Partners (HRBP’s).
  • Employ critical analysis and logical reasoning to evaluate complex situations and solve high-impact problems.
  • Conduct site-level assessments using tools such as the Operations Visit Guide to identify training gaps and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Regularly audit training processes at various sites to ensure consistency and adherence to company standards.
  • Provide periodic evaluations of Lead Supervisors and report monthly on certification metrics.
  • Maintain detailed records of training completion, attendance, and certifications, leveraging operation metrics to measure efficacy and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Field HR and Divisional Operations Leadership to determine visit priorities and assess site training needs holistically.
  • Participate in preparations and create site opening plans to train all new associates and managers.
  • Help schedule and facilitate H2B/J1 transitions, onboarding, and training.
  • Collaborate with divisional leadership to prioritize training efforts, support new site launches, and address challenges at underperforming sites.
  • Support the implementation of comprehensive training programs that align with organizational goals and are consistently applied across all locations.
