About The Position

Abcor Home Health is seeking a proactive and results-driven Bilingual Homecare Branch Supervisor (Team Lead) for their growing Chicago North Side office. This role is not passive; it requires a system architect who can manage a high-volume caseload, lead a team of caregivers, and maximize branch utilization. The ideal candidate will be able to handle the fast-paced Chicago market and maintain high audit-readiness.

Requirements

Bilingual Capability: Professional fluency in Spanish is required to serve our diverse North Side community.
Leadership Foundation: Two years of supervisory experience (Homecare leadership is a massive plus).
Proactive Personality: You don't wait for a crisis; you identify bottlenecks and build systems to fix them.
Illinois Homecare Knowledge: Familiarity with the Illinois homecare landscape (CCP, MCO, or VA) is highly preferred.
Technical Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a "data-first" approach to managing caseloads.
Education: High School Diploma required

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Optimize Utilization: Proactively manage schedules to ensure that every authorized hour of care is delivered and billed.
Lead with Impact: Supervise and coach a team of caregivers, ensuring they feel supported while maintaining high accountability.
Relationship Management: Serve as the critical liaison between families, caregivers, and high-stakes referral sources (IDOA, MCOs, VA).
Regulatory Mastery: Ensure every client and employee file is "audit-ready" according to IDOA, IDPH, and DHS-ORS provisions.
Solve the Puzzle: Navigate the complex geography of Chicago to create efficient caregiver-client pairings that minimize travel and maximize service.
