About The Position
The Bilingual Home Care Aide provides in-home support to clients in Scranton and must be fluent in Hindi and English. The position offers morning visits and weekend shifts, with immediate opportunities available. Morning work is designed to leave afternoons and evenings free. Applicants may also be matched with evening or overnight hours close to home. The aide supports clients with morning routines, personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, and transportation to appointments and errands. The role also includes helping clients feel safe and engaged at home and providing friendly conversation.
Requirements
- Fluent in Hindi and English.
- Attentive, patient, and reliable.
- Punctual and comfortable working one-on-one in quiet home settings.
- Valid driver’s license and dependable personal vehicle.
- Clear background check.
Responsibilities
- Assist with morning wake-up routines and breakfast preparation.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Support clients with morning personal care, dressing, and hygiene routines.
- Transport and accompany clients to weekend appointments, errands, or grocery shopping.
- Help ensure clients feel safe, engaged, and supported in their homes throughout the weekend.
- Provide friendly, uplifting conversation.
