About The Position

The Bilingual Grocery Merchandiser is a part-time role responsible for servicing retailers in Mesa, AZ, and surrounding areas. The position involves completing store visits, surveys, and tasks, including merchandising, ordering product, stocking shelves, conducting audits, and ensuring accurate product representation. This role requires consistent use of mobile apps for reporting, photo uploads, task completion, and communication. The merchandiser will work independently, follow directions, and possess excellent communication skills. The position also involves serving as a Brand Ambassador by building relationships with store and department managers, monitoring sales volume and inventory, presenting deals, supporting promotional activities, placing in-store materials, rotating products, and executing special campaigns. The role requires the ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is a must.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must have a cell phone that is no older than 5 years.
  • Must be able to repeatedly bend and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid Driver License.
  • Proof of Automobile insurance.
  • Reliable phone (no older than 5 years) service and internet service for daily communication.
  • Required to drive to stores in assigned territory to complete retail task & audits at local grocery retailer.
  • Must be able to perform physical activities, i.e., frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, lifting, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned territory by completing store visits, surveys, and tasks.
  • Take pictures and complete reporting requirements with provided technology.
  • Sell, merchandise, and gain/maintain distribution within a variety of accounts.
  • Ensure clients' products are well-stocked and order if product is not in stock or low.
  • Use mobile apps for reporting, photo uploads, task completion, and communication.
  • Switch between tasks such as stocking, reporting, and communicating with store teams.
  • Order product and work product to shelves from new orders.
  • Conduct audits and merchandising in area grocery stores.
  • Drive to various retail locations.
  • Verify that clients' products are accurately represented on store shelves.
  • Report findings and data to management through a downloaded app.
  • Maintain a safe working environment while working in stores.
  • Adhere to attendance and dress code guidelines.
  • Comply with any additional guidelines established by the Store Team.
  • Attend client kick-off video calls.
  • Serve as a Brand Ambassador by building and cultivating relationships with store and department managers.
  • Monitor sales volume and inventory levels.
  • Present and create awareness with store management about approved deals from corporate.
  • Encourage stores to order more products and accept the orders.
  • Support promotional activities by negotiating/building displays to ensure product is available for consumers.
  • Place in-store promotional materials; neck-hangers, aisle stoppers, danglers, coupons, samples etc.
  • Rotate products and assist with new item cut-ins.
  • Monitor and ensure the approved schematic layout and planogram.
  • Take pictures of products, displays and competitive sets.
  • Complete daily and weekly reports as instructed.
  • Execute special promotional campaigns and resets as directed.
  • Perform additional activities as requested by company management.
