Requirements

• 1 - 3 years of experience. preferably in a hospitality, food production environment, catering establishment within floor monitoring, food safety and quality parameters
• Good computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook)
• Knowledge in HACCP, ISO, and food safety systems
• Food Safety Certification, state specific if applicable
• Ability to work long hours on foot and in environments with varying temperatures.
• Flexibility to work different shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) based on business needs.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• HACCP Certified preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitors CCP (critical control point) and temperature record, follows up or escalates as necessary.
• Completes internal food safety audits and prepares samples for microbiological testing.
• Maintains quality assurance filing system.
• Investigates customer complaints and maintains and makes recommendation for improvement for the facility’s traceability system.
• Assists in internal and external audits.
• Assists in monitoring and makes recommendations for improvement for the facilities cleaning schedule.
• Maintains records for facility hygiene.
• Maintains records for employee training and retains and track renewals for food safety certifications.
• Delivers food safety training as necessary.
