Field Interviewers are responsible for frequently traveling to selected locations to recruit study participants. This involves making in-person contact with respondents to discuss the study, answer questions, and obtain their participation. They are tasked with properly administering computer-assisted interviews, collecting confidential information, and using standardized questionnaires. The role requires independent management of administrative duties, including participating in conference calls and completing online trainings. Interviewers must transmit data as scheduled, assume full legal responsibility for project-issued equipment, and safeguard participant incentives and project materials. They are also responsible for carefully tracking all participant incentives and submitting timely and accurate Time & Expense reports. The position requires virtual attendance at scheduled meetings, approaching selected households without prior appointment, working and driving after dark, and attending weekly calls with a Field Supervisor. Adherence to a schedule set by the Field Supervisor for respondent contact times and providing availability for field observations are also required, along with maintaining system updates to project equipment and completing administrative tasks.
