About The Position

The Bilingual Early Intervention Service Coordinator – Summit County position at the Developmental Disabilities Resource Center (DDRC) is a full-time role for an individual residing in or around Summit County, Colorado. This role involves providing service coordination to children aged birth to three who are enrolled in the early intervention program. The Service Coordinator acts as the primary point of contact for families, guiding them through the Early Intervention (EI) process from eligibility to transition. This includes leading IFSP meetings, ensuring timely and family-centered service delivery, supporting family assessments, explaining child development and available services, and connecting families with community resources. The position also entails planning and coordinating transitions out of EI, explaining preschool special education options, coordinating transition meetings, and managing required documentation and timelines. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for maintaining regular contact with families, providers, and partners, utilizing interpretation services when necessary, and ensuring compliance with regulations regarding documentation, consent, and confidentiality. The role also involves participating in team meetings, completing required training and administrative tasks, and engaging in ongoing professional development within a dynamic, family-focused environment.

Requirements

• Must reside in or around Summit County, Colorado.
• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, social work, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Five years of relevant case management experience if no degree.
• Demonstrated verbal and written fluency in both English and Spanish languages.

Responsibilities

• Provide service coordination to children (birth-3) enrolled in the early intervention program.
• Support young children with developmental delays and their families by coordinating Early Intervention (EI) services from eligibility through transition.
• Serve as the family's main point of contact, helping them understand the EI process.
