About The Position

Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) is seeking a dedicated full-time bilingual English/Spanish Early Childhood Clinician to join their Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) team. This role involves providing comprehensive mental health services to children aged 0-5 and their families in various settings, including homes, early childhood centers, and CCBHCs across Westchester County. Services encompass intake, assessment, home visiting, play therapy, parenting groups, and consultation for challenging behaviors. The salary range is $65,000–$75,000, with an additional $5,000 differential for bilingual fluency, bringing the total compensation to $70,000–$80,000.

Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited school.
  • Possession of New York State licensure (LMFT, LMSW, LMHC, or LCSW); LCSW strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of child development and behavior management.
  • Familiarity and experience with evidenced-based practices.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse, multicultural populations.
  • Ability to travel for home visits, including one evening per week up to 7:00pm; reliable transportation required.
  • Proficiency with computer skills and electronic health records.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and develop written treatment plans with clients (collaborative documentation) in compliance with CCBHC regulations.
  • Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and agency reports.
  • Provide evidence-based treatment via individual, family, and group therapy.
  • Consult with parents, caregivers, teachers, and childcare providers regarding behavioral concerns.
  • Provide late night coverage as required, one evening per week.
  • Attend agency in-service training and staff meetings.
  • Collaborate as an integrated member of the Early Childhood team.
  • Stay current on best practices in therapy with young children and families.
