About The Position

The HealthCare Connection (THCC) is seeking a Bilingual Dental Patient Service Specialist for its Lincoln Heights Health Center. THCC, founded in 1967, is Ohio's first Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to providing quality and accessible primary healthcare services. They are a Level 3 Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) serving over 20,000 patients with services including Primary Care, Infectious Disease, Substance Use, Integrated Behavioral Health, Dental Services, Women’s Health, and Pharmacy. The Bilingual Dental Patient Service Specialist will be the welcoming face of the Lincoln Heights Health Center, supporting patients through the front desk registration process. This role requires a bilingual, customer-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to health equity.

Requirements

• Bilingual (Spanish & English)
• 1–3 years of experience in a clinical or medical office setting (front desk, registration, or scheduling roles preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer systems
• Familiarity with EHR systems; NextGen experience is a plus
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment with frequent interruptions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Resume must be attached to be considered

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients upon arrival
• Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information
• Collect payments and co-pays for services
• Schedule, confirm, cancel, and reschedule appointments
• Assist patients with forms and paperwork
• Work with the Finance department regarding patient balances
• Support administrative and reporting tasks as needed
