Requirements

  • Previous experience in a call centre or customer service environment required
  • Professional phone and email etiquette
  • Utmost discretion with confidential customer information
  • Excellent data entry and keyboarding skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; Bilingual language skills (English & French) are an asset
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Superior organizational, and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Strong desire to take ownership and accountability of task completion
  • Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
  • Ability to work effectively with and without supervision
  • Bilingual in French and English
  • Bilingualism (French, English – oral and written) is required for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking customers within our stores, colleagues and/or internal partners/suppliers across Canada
  • Être bilingue (français, anglais – parlé et écrit) est nécessaire pour les interactions fréquentes avec les clients anglophones et francophones dans nos magasins, les colègues et/ou les partenaires/fournisseurs internes à travers le Canada

Responsibilities

  • Provide courteous, prompt, and professional service to customers over the phone with the goal of resolving customer questions and concerns with first contact resolution
  • Work with peers and management to ensure that customer concerns are addressed in the most efficient manner
  • Follow up with customers to identify and support their needs
  • Offer value-added solutions and promote customer loyalty by providing exceptional customer support
  • Correspond with retailers and customers verbally and electronically
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of new policies, procedures, and products
  • Process routine clerical transactions in between calls
  • Communication with TGS’ network of professional service providers
