About The Position

This role involves engaging with members to resolve complex coverage and benefit issues, providing empathetic support, and coordinating across internal and external partners to ensure seamless healthcare experiences. The representative will need a strong understanding of health plans and benefit offerings to address these issues. The position requires handling inbound or outbound phone calls daily, being resourceful in using technology to troubleshoot prior authorization issues, and coordinating with PBMs. Additionally, leveraging strong customer service and de-escalation skills is crucial for managing complex claims issues and supporting members through difficult situations.

Requirements

  • Experience in healthcare call centers or customer service (non-retail).
  • Strong multitasking and communication skills.
  • Comfort with discussing sensitive healthcare topics (e.g., chronic conditions, end-of-life care).
  • Ability to use multiple monitors and systems simultaneously.
  • Must be bilingual in SPANISH or Korean.
  • Knowledge of healthcare offerings.
  • Prior call center experience.
