About The Position

HES is a premier national provider of facilities management services focused 100% on educational institutions. We are seeking for 2nd and 3rd Shift Supervisors. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK FLUENT CREOLE AND ENGLISH TO BE CONSIDERED FOR POSITION. Leads are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all assigned areas. Supervisors perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the facility. Leads are responsible for helping check out the condition of the building and reporting issues to the manager. Supervisors also help cleaning other areas due to any staff shortages or when needed for other reasons. Supervisors also may train other employees.

Requirements

Fluent Creole and English speaking ability.
Excellent work history.
Team focused approach requiring ability to work with others and take direction.
Reliable transportation (evening buses are not always reliable).
Candidates are subject to Background check.
Previous cleaning experience required.
Floor experience required (waxing).

Nice To Haves

High school degree preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Sweeping, dusting, dust mopping, damp mopping, vacuuming, extracting carpet, stripping and waxing floors, removing trash, recycling, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and locker rooms, polishing outside area within 10 feet of entryways, washing windows, removal or snow and ice, cleaning of desks/walls/ furniture/ doors/ entry glass/ interior glass/countertops/ chalkboards/ whiteboards/blinds and light fixtures, and any other duties as directed by custodial supervisor or his/her designated representative.
Helping check out the condition of the building and reporting issues to the manager.
Cleaning other areas due to any staff shortages or when needed for other reasons.
Training other employees.
