Wells Fargo is seeking a Bilingual Credit Portfolio Associate. This role is for a vacancy in either our Montreal or Mississauga office. In this role, you will build and maintain effective relationships with a group of assigned Inventory Finance clients in various industries and geographies. You will provide support as an advisor regarding credit performance, potential or emerging risks, and business conformity with risk appetite, credit culture, and policies. You will review basic or tactical issues, credit policies or procedures, complex credit reports, and findings and insights to recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies to management. You will exercise independent judgment while developing understanding of credit function, analytical tools, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements. You will collaborate and consult with managers, functional colleagues, and stakeholders, including internal or external customers. You will proactively monitor and assess the portfolio to manage risk and drive effective resolution of problem loans. You will deliver responsive, professional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, following through on commitments, and maintaining strong client relationships. You will make decisions and resolve issues to meet business objectives. You will identify opportunities to support your assigned customer’s Inventory Finance needs for Line Increases, Additional Financing opportunities. You will demonstrate ability to analyze and interpret financial statements, assess performance trends, and respond appropriately to support sound business decisions. You will collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals. You will identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development. You will interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
