Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience with contracts management or a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Fully Bilingual – French & English.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply Vantive’s Culture Levers to daily work, problem-solving, and special projects.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with various internal teams to achieve goals, sometimes with minimal supervision.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work proficiently and drive for timely and accurate results with limited supervision.
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • Strong functional knowledge of a contract lifecycle management system and the ability to train others.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Experience working with data and reporting tools such as Cognos, Tableau, or other BI tools.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to negotiate terms and conditions to lower Vantive’s risk.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end tender management, contract management through its entire life cycle, and contract maintenance.
  • Understand and mitigate risks associated with business/legal aspects of contracts.
  • Negotiate terms & conditions with customers.
  • Oversee the entire process of contract renewals, strategies, and tenders across multiple corporate functions.
  • Project manage and respond to RFPs.
  • Monitor multiple RFP websites daily for relevant opportunities.
  • Collaborate with management to understand needs and provide guidance.
  • Recommend rebate structures and verbiage.
  • Liaise with Sr. Manager, Contracts & RFPs, and Corporate Council on business/legal terms.
  • Adhere to templates and rebate library.
  • Minimize contractual risks through best-in-class terms/conditions assessment.
  • Ensure compliance with BOPs and respond to internal/external audits.
  • Drive efficiencies through process improvements, standardization, and best practices.
  • Provide sales analytical support, contract maintenance, and reporting.
  • Support the frontline sales team.
  • Support contract implementation, maintenance, and renewals, ensuring alignment with corporate directives and strategies.
  • Host RFP kick-off calls, provide guidance, and recommend price strategies.
  • Maximize business profitability within Vantive guidelines in collaboration with Sales and Marketing.
  • Optimize opportunities by extending contract terms to defend business and incentivize customer growth.
  • Rationalize and standardize agreements using Vantive's contract template.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with external customers to limit Vantive's risk.
  • Manage projects within the Contracts team and participate in cross-departmental projects.
