Environmental and Safety Solutions Inc. is seeking a quality-driven, customer-focused, and excellence-committed professional to join their team as a Bilingual Construction Safety Specialist in Jeffersonville, OH. This role involves a significant field presence to ensure job site safety conditions and behaviors meet high standards.

Requirements

• Must be bilingual (English and Spanish).
• 2 to 5 years of construction safety management experience.
• Ability to start this project as soon as possible.
• Must have excellent writing and computer skills.
• Great communication - written & verbal.

Nice To Haves

• OSHA 510, Preferred or additional experience.
• Local to the project preferred, there is per diem available if not local.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong field presence (90%+ of time) to monitor job site safety conditions and behaviors.
• Conduct daily site walkthroughs, inspections, and audits to ensure compliance with OSHA and site-specific safety requirements.
• Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement corrective actions in real time.
• Partner with superintendents, foremen, and subcontractors to promote a proactive safety culture.
• Lead and participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and pre-task planning sessions.
• Observe work activities across multiple trades (mechanical, electrical, structural, etc.) and ensure safe work practices are followed.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; document findings and support corrective action plans.
• Reinforce positive safety behaviors while coaching and mentoring workers on best practices.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to company safety policies and procedures.
