About The Position
Comfort Keepers is urgently seeking a compassionate and dependable Bilingual Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide one-on-one, in-home care to a client in Azle, TX 76020. We are specifically looking for a Texas-certified CNA who is fluent in both English and Spanish and is comfortable providing hands-on care while communicating effectively with the client and family. This is an excellent opportunity for a CNA who enjoys building meaningful relationships with clients and helping seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.
Requirements
- Current Texas CNA certification
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and families in both languages
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
- Ability to travel to the Azle, TX 76020 client location
- Ability to safely assist with personal care and mobility needs
- Dependable, compassionate, and client-focused attitude
- Willingness to complete required training and onboarding
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of professional CNA or caregiving experience
- Experience caring for seniors or individuals with ongoing care needs
- Experience providing one-on-one in-home care
Responsibilities
- Assist the client with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding assistance, when needed
- Provide medication reminders
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Change bed linens and maintain a clean environment
- Provide companionship and social engagement
- Observe and report changes in the client's condition
- Communicate important updates with the office and care team
- Follow the client's individualized care plan
- Provide clear and compassionate communication in English and Spanish
