About The Position

Ability Rehabilitation is seeking a highly organized and efficient Bilingual Central Scheduler to join their team. This role is responsible for coordinating and managing appointments, procedures, and resources across the healthcare facility, ensuring smooth operations and optimal patient care. The Bilingual Central Scheduler will manage and maintain the centralized scheduling system for multi-disciplinary services, coordinate patient appointments, procedures, and follow-ups using scheduling software, and communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and staff to schedule and confirm appointments. They will also resolve scheduling conflicts, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies, collaborate with various departments to streamline scheduling processes, handle patient inquiries, and maintain accurate patient records.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (2-3 years) in scheduling or related administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-volume scheduling.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures preferred.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities
