Requirements
- Be authorized to work in Canada
- Hold a valid Alberta security license
- Must be bilingual in English and French
- Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
- Strong problem-solving skills
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in security or law enforcement preferred
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect potential issues
- Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Report any suspicious behavior, security breaches, or safety hazards
- Assist staff, visitors, and customers as needed in a professional manner
- Operate and monitor surveillance systems and other security equipment
- Maintain accurate and detailed daily activity reports and incident logs
- Coordinate and cooperate with law enforcement, fire services, and emergency responders when necessary
