About The Position

This role is ideal for individuals with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Sociology who are seeking to gain experience in mental health settings. The position focuses on assisting clients with health and wellness treatment goals and services, working with a vulnerable population. It offers opportunities to develop case management and counseling skills, requiring attention to detail and experience in traditional case management, supportive counseling, and facilitating treatment groups. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or a related field OR one-year experience in the behavioral health field for non-related Bachelor's degrees
• Experience working with adults in an outpatient setting.
• Interest in working with adults with mental illness and substance use issues.
• Experience with clinical modalities: Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), other Cognitive Behavior Therapies (CBT).
• Collaborative and client-centered orientation.
• Familiarity with insurance programs like Medicare and Medicaid.
