About The Position

Sun Loan Company is seeking a reliable and ambitious Bilingual Branch Manager to join their dynamic team. The Branch Manager will be central to company operations, responsible for leading branch operations, driving performance, and fostering client and team relationships to achieve business objectives. This role involves conducting performance evaluations, scheduling staffing efficiently, and promoting the organization through community engagement. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, operational management, and strategic planning skills, thrive under pressure, and maintain a high level of professionalism and commitment to the organization's values.

Requirements

  • Loan industry management experience strongly preferred, or 2-3 years’ prior management experience from similar customer service or collections related industries
  • Must have a valid drivers’ license with reliable transportation and valid proof of insurance
  • Some local travel may be required for team meetings (up to 5%)
  • Must be bilingual in speaking Spanish.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
  • Candidates must already possess valid U.S. work authorization permitting employment with any employer.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily office operations
  • Maintain compliance with policies and procedures
  • Be a leader and mentor and accountable for training and development Loan Specialists
  • Create a culture that encourages growth, learning and success
  • Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability
  • Establishes performance goals
  • Professionally handle adverse customer situations while maintaining a positive relationship to encourage return business
  • Approve, reject or coordinate all loan applications
  • Assist Loan Specialists with loan processing and collections calls
  • Tax preparation (may vary by location)
  • Plan and develop branch growth by networking with the local community and other businesses
  • Work closely with team members to achieve branch goals
