The Sun Advantage segment provides service to small and medium businesses (3-49 lives) represented by brokers, MGAs and TPAs. Reporting to the Sun Advantage Underwriting Manager, you will be responsible for assessing and managing risk by analyzing data related to requests from existing customers or new business opportunities. You will provide insights and creative solutions to help solve existing or new client problems when issues arise, set pricing for renewal in-force contracts, and provide quotations for new business opportunities. You will also be expected to meet Sun Life’s quality and service standards, respect deadlines, and develop a good understanding of the administrative, contractual, and legislative Group Benefits environment. Furthermore, you will develop a strong understanding of Sun Life’s products and services, underwriting guidelines, systems and tools, pricing methodologies, and market feedback. Partnering with the sales and service team to provide outstanding client services and achieve profitability objectives is also a key part of this role.
