ROLE SUMMARY: Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Analyst is responsible for maintaining on time and accurate end-to-end payroll to our unionized and non-unionized employees within our various locations throughout Canada. The ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment is essential. The Payroll Analyst’s duties include working closely with internal and external partners and run audits whilst providing additional daily support to our stakeholders. Working within our payroll team will also provide new opportunities to bring fresh ideas and insights through various projects which are core to employee engagement and success

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process payroll from end to end
  • Audit payroll processing to ensure accuracy
  • Address payroll issues
  • Act as a point of contact for stakeholders
  • Process monthly accrual
  • Maintain Elections and Benefits
  • Champion process improvement, modifications, updates, and enhancement in technology to ensure optimal performance in the delivery of payroll services
