Children’s Minnesota is seeking a .8 FTE bilingual Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team at the Minneapolis Primary Care Clinic. This hospital-based clinic offers outpatient services to infants through adolescents from urban and suburban areas. The clinic serves a diverse patient population with various primary languages and provides a range of services including well-child care, walk-in care, and educational programs. Providers manage acute and chronic childhood illnesses, address complex medical and psychosocial issues, and offer parental guidance. The clinic also provides wrap-around services such as Integrated Behavioral Health, interpreter services, an on-site clinical pharmacist, access to Adolescent Health and Gender health providers, and resource navigators through the Community Connect program. Advanced practice providers are expected to provide trauma-informed, weight-inclusive, and culturally competent care. Proficiency in Somali or Spanish is preferred due to the diverse needs of the patient population. Applicants must hold a lactation consultation certification from IBCLE or commit to obtaining it within two years of starting. The work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8 am – 5 pm, with hours worked per week and specific scheduling dependent on applicant preferences and clinic needs. APPs do not cover call.
