About The Position

Conte’s Bike Shop is looking for a motivated, energetic Bike Sales Associate who thrives in a fast paced retail environment and is passionate about helping riders find the perfect bike, gear, and service solutions. This role is all about closing sales, delivering an exceptional customer experience, and representing the values that make our shop a trusted part of the cycling community.

Requirements

• A passion for cycling and a genuine enthusiasm for helping people.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with customers of all experience levels.
• Confidence in guiding customers through the sales process and closing sales in a high volume environment.
• High attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic retail setting.
• A team first attitude and the flexibility to work well with a variety of peers.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of 2 years selling in the bicycle industry or specialty outdoor sales

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service from the moment a customer walks in, ensuring every rider feels welcomed, supported, and understood.
• Drive sales by actively engaging customers, asking great questions, and confidently recommending bikes, accessories, and service options that meet their needs.
• Maintain strong product knowledge and stay up to date on the latest bikes, components, and gear.
• Support daily shop operations, including opening the store on time, maintaining merchandising standards, and keeping the sales floor clean and organized.
• Help resolve customer concerns with empathy, professionalism, and a solutions oriented mindset.
• Collaborate with teammates to create a positive, inclusive, and high energy shop environment.
