About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and enjoyable environment. The Bike Patrol Officer is responsible for all bike patrol equipment, reporting violations of policies and procedures, and handling all incidents occurring on the property. They ensure the facilities perimeter is secure, including buildings and storage areas, and the safety and well-being of the public and employees while on the outer perimeter of the establishment. The role also involves communicating information to other supervisory personnel regarding incidents on the outer perimeter and remaining within the boundaries of the Santa Ana Star Casino property. Other duties may be assigned or required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • The ability to communicate and correspond clearly and effectively.
  • The ability to conduct such emergency action to safeguard both the facility and/or any person while on perimeter duty.
  • Able to pass 90 working day probation in this position.
  • The ability to pass a physical agility test and 1.5 mile run in the required time limits.
  • The ability to pass a bike patrol training course.
  • A smartphone capable of running company applications and communication systems is required.
  • All employees are required to proficiently use a smartphone for company applications, email, and text.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Pueblo of Santa Ana Gaming and Regulatory Commission key gaming license.
  • Maintains a strict level of confidentiality regarding company information.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Must have excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be a detail oriented, organized individual with the ability to multi-task.

  • Must be able to work various hours including weekends and holidays.
  • Must present self in a well-groomed, professional appearance.

Responsibilities
