Bike Officer - Durango
About The Position
This role is critical for us to succeed as an approachable, luxury destination offering best-in-class hospitality and exciting amenities for all. In addition, you will ensure our team members have the resources to provide our guests with memorable moments at Durango. Requirements
- Ability to obtain a Nevada Gaming registration (must be 21 years of age)
- Ability to obtain an Alcohol Awareness Certification card (must be 21 years of age)
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to obtain and pass firearm’s certification
- Must be able to successfully complete bike training course
Nice To Haves
- Previous Security Officer, Law Enforcement or Military experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Responding to and assisting in all emergencies, including but not limited to fires, medical emergencies, and criminal activity.
- Responding to all disturbances in order to defuse the incident.
- Prepared to become involved in a physical confrontation when necessary.
- Always remain alert.
- Patrolling hotel grounds, parking areas and surrounding areas continually observing for prowlers, parking in restricted areas, blocking of exits and fire hazards.
- Alert for burglaries, prowlers, vandalism, trespassers and removal of hotel/casino property without proper authorization.
