Role Description We are currently in search of a self-motivated and detail-oriented candidate to work as a Bike Line Assembler. Employees in this department work with the team to assemble various pieces of cardio equipment before the products are shipped to the customer. Each employee is assigned to an individual station and responsible for completing their portion of the assembly process. The successful candidate is eager to learn, willing to be trained, and has an excellent attendance record. While experience is a huge advantage, we will consider hiring and training someone interested and committed to hard work. We are looking for the right person to fill these positions and become part of the Keiser team. Bike Line employees should demonstrate dexterity, stamina, attention to detail, good communication, and teamwork. This position is a temp-to-hire using a third-party agency. Employees are evaluated after 90 days and offered a position with the company if they are meeting expectations.

Requirements

  • Must have excellent attendance and an exceptional willingness to learn
  • Good team player who can work efficiently with minimal supervision
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Confirmation of a negative drug screen prior to starting
  • Ability to lift, bend, and reach numerous times throughout the day
  • Adaptable in a multitasking environment

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing: 6 months
  • Experience using small hand tools (drills, screwdrivers, impact drivers, etc.)
  • Experience following written directions to assemble a product

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for consistent quality of products assembled
  • Works assigned station and maintains production speeds with co-workers
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of work area, and comply with safety standards and regulations
  • Report defects and any other issues to team leader promptly
  • Follows safe work procedures and wears personal protective equipment as required
  • Works assigned shifts and overtime if required
