About The Position

Mike’s Bikes is seeking a Level 1 or Level 2 Bike Fitter who is passionate about cycling and helping others achieve a more comfortable and efficient riding experience. This role involves acting as both an advisor and a cycling advocate, delivering exceptional service through a proven fit methodology. The Bike Fitter will conduct pre-assessments, perform bike adjustments, and utilize specialized tools and software to enhance rider performance and comfort. Collaboration with retail and service teams is key to ensuring a seamless customer experience. The position also requires maintaining organized work areas and effectively communicating technical information about bike fit to customers.

Requirements

Passion for cycling and helping others
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Willingness to work weekends as needed
Ability to lift 35+ lbs and stand for long periods

Nice To Haves

Prior fitting experience and/or training is a bonus, but not compulsory
Applicants willing and able to support the service department between fit appointments—helping riders get back on the road even faster and expanding their technical skills—will be prioritized.

Responsibilities

Deliver world-class service to riders through our proven fit methodology.
Conduct comprehensive physical and structural pre-assessments.
Recommend and perform bike adjustments: frame size, handlebar width, saddle position, cleat placement, and more.
Utilize fit tools and software to improve rider performance and comfort.
Work collaboratively with retail and service teams to create a seamless rider experience.
Maintain clean and organized fitting and product areas.
Understanding and clearly communicating systems relating to handlebar width, stack/reach, saddle selection, saddle height, saddle fore/aft, leg extension, cleat placement, cleat shims, and foot beds to improve comfort & performance.
