About The Position

This is a part-time position where the Bike Builder is responsible for efficiently assembling customer and store equipment, including bicycles, exercise machines, furniture, game tables, basketball hoops, trampolines, grills, store displays, and other items designated by leadership. The role requires maintaining accurate records, interpreting assembly instructions, troubleshooting assembly issues, and assisting with equipment delivery and loading. The position also involves completing other assigned duties and working the required schedule, which may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), 1-3 months of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least 16 years of age
• Strong mechanical ability is preferred
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Very heavy work – Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Follow all safety procedures and perform job duties in a fashion that minimizes the risk of injury.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently assemble customer and store equipment. Equipment may include bicycles, exercise machines, furniture, game tables, basketball hoops, trampolines, grills, store displays, and other items designated by leadership
• Maintain accurate and detailed records for store and customer equipment
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as assembly instructions, safety manuals, operation, and maintenance instructions
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues
• Assist with delivering and loading customer equipment and merchandise at the store and to customer residences
• Complete other duties as assigned by Leadership or department leads
• Ability to work assigned schedule, which may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• All other duties as assigned by leadership
