About The Position

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products and sells items individually to the public through online auctions. The Big Box Scan Team uses proprietary software to scan and upload product information into the auction portal accurately, focusing on larger items. The Big Box Scanner Associate scans products, researches them online, prepares photos, and completes listing information while meeting quantity and quality goals. This position reports to the Big Box Scan Team Lead.

Requirements

• Available to work onsite Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, on 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break.
• Able to lift 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with a team lift.
• Comfortable using web- and browser-based software, such as Google and Amazon.
• Tech-savvy.
• Able to stand and walk for hours at a time.
• Able to follow written directions and company policies.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scan large, unwieldy, and heavy items into the system to create online auction listings.
• Search for products online.
• Take and crop photos for online listings.
• Correct and complete automatically pulled information for each item.
• Meet quantity and quality goals.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
