About The Position

Tyndale House Publishers, a leading Christian publisher, is offering a Summer 2027 internship for college students interested in Christian publishing. This internship provides hands-on experience in social media marketing, content creation, marketing strategy, and analytics within the Bible marketing team. Interns will contribute to marketing strategies, create content, research trends, support campaigns, and learn how Bibles are marketed. The role focuses on increasing awareness and engagement with the New Living Translation (NLT) and Tyndale Bible brands through social media.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, business, graphic design, or a related field.
  • Strong creative writing and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Understanding of social media platforms, trends, and emerging content formats.
  • Interest in social media marketing, content creation, and digital marketing.
  • Ability to conduct thorough research, identify insights, and communicate findings clearly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • A willingness to learn about Bible marketing, social media strategy, publishing, and the broader marketing industry.
  • Personal alignment with and adherence to the Bible as God’s Word, and agreement with our Statement of Faith.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Later, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and HubSpot is preferred; willingness to learn new tools is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Develop creative and engaging social media content, including copy, graphics, and short-form video concepts.
  • Contribute ideas for social media campaigns, promotions, and content calendars.
  • Research and develop ideas to increase engagement, awareness, and usage of the NLT and Bibles in the NLT translation.
  • Research social media trends, platform features, emerging content formats, audience behaviors, and best practices.
  • Research social media influencers and content creators, evaluate audience alignment and engagement, and provide recommendations.
  • Monitor social media activity from other Bible publishers, ministries, authors, and relevant organizations.
  • Monitor organic and paid social media performance, compile results, and create reports or visualizations.
  • Assist with monitoring social media channels and identifying opportunities to encourage meaningful engagement.
  • Assist members of the Bible marketing team with additional marketing projects and initiatives as needed.
