Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in recruiting, onboarding, or HR administration, particularly within the healthcare or human services sectors.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes, HR compliance, and onboarding procedures.
  • Proficiency with HRIS/ATS systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to accuracy.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

  • HR certification like PHR or SHRM-CP.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the full-cycle recruitment process for a diverse range of clinical, administrative, operational, and leadership positions.
  • Posting job openings on various platforms.
  • Conducting initial phone screenings.
  • Scheduling interviews with hiring managers.
  • Ensuring a seamless communication loop with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Developing and maintaining candidate pipelines for hard-to-fill roles.
  • Tracking all recruitment activities using our HRIS/ATS system.
  • Overseeing the onboarding process by preparing new hire packets, coordinating background checks, scheduling orientations, and maintaining an organized workflow.
  • Representing Owen Health Care at career fairs and community outreach events.
  • Fostering a positive candidate experience, ensuring timely and professional communication.
  • Enhancing employee engagement, retention, and overall organizational success.
