2027 Summer BI/Data Analytics IT Intern
About The Position
As a BI/Data Analytics IT Intern, you will partner with IT to problem identify trends and generate insights by conducting routine analyses of various data systems. This is a 3-month summer intern/co-op within a functional area of MKS Inc. that provides students a comprehensive and engaging experience from before your program starts to after the program ends. The program includes meaningful work and project assignments, networking opportunities with peers and executives, exposure to different divisions of the business, and an understanding of MKS Inc.'s commitment to culture and belonging. This is a full-time summer 2027 internship.
Requirements
- Competency in using data visualization software like Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
- Presentation skills - Facilitation, PowerPoint, etc.
- Knowledge of modelling using excel, Python, or other data platforms
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge Azure AI, Workday, SAP, Amazon RedShift
- Advanced PowerBI
- Demonstrated experience building economic and data models using tools such as Python
Responsibilities
- Problem-solving and analytical understanding for statistics and data
- Identifying trends and generate insights by conducting routine analyses of various data systems.
- Communicate key findings to various stakeholders to facilitate data-driven decision-making or storytelling
- Recognize key metrics and build high-level dashboards to track the progress of the initiatives
- Aggregate data from various sources to construct streamlined data pipelines and integrate data from multiple systems
