About The Position

Stord is seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented business intelligence professional to join its Strategy team and partner closely with senior leadership. The role owns reporting, dashboards, and analysis that support executive decision-making and communicate business performance to the Board of Directors, investors, and internal leaders. It involves translating complex business questions into clear insights and building scalable, repeatable reporting, with significant exposure to the executive team. The position covers executive, Board, investor, financial, and operational reporting; dashboard development and ownership; KPI definition; and analysis across multiple data sources. The role partners with Strategy and Finance to support recurring reporting, investor materials, and actuals-versus-budget-versus-forecast analysis. It also identifies data quality issues and opportunities to automate reporting, and builds accessible, accurate, repeatable reporting infrastructure that helps leaders understand business performance and its drivers.

Requirements

3–6+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, strategic finance, FP&A, or a similar analytical role.
Strong SQL skills and experience working with large or complex datasets.
Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
Experience building dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or a similar BI platform.
Strong understanding of financial and operational metrics.
Exceptional attention to detail and a high bar for data accuracy.
Ability to work independently and take an ambiguous question from idea through analysis to executive-ready output.
Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex data clearly to non-technical audiences.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain dashboards and reporting for Board meetings, investor materials, executive reviews, and leadership meetings.
Own the underlying data and analysis for key company metrics.
Partner with Strategy and Finance on recurring reporting and investor materials.
Translate business performance into clear, executive-ready insights and visualizations.
Investigate performance changes and identify their key drivers.
Build recurring reporting on revenue, margin, EBITDA, operating expenses, headcount, sales, customer performance, and other business metrics.
Support actuals-versus-budget-versus-forecast reporting.
Partner with Finance to ensure reporting is accurate, consistent, and aligned with financial statements and company planning.
Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting and reduce reliance on spreadsheets and one-off analyses.
Build and own executive dashboards that provide a clear view of company performance.
Develop dashboards and reporting for internal leadership meetings across Sales, Operations, CX, Finance, and People.
Establish consistent KPI definitions and a single source of truth for critical business metrics.
Improve how leaders access and consume data across the organization.
Pull, analyze, and reconcile data across multiple systems and sources.
Identify data quality issues and work with relevant teams to resolve them.
Turn ambiguous business questions into structured analyses and actionable recommendations.
Build repeatable processes and automated reporting wherever possible.
