BI Analyst
About The Position
The BI Analyst contributes to the development and delivery of reporting and data delivery. The role combines technical skills and analytical capabilities, with a focus on data analysis, reporting, and analytics. The analyst identifies and analyzes business reporting requirements, prepares ad hoc analytical queries, and participates in developing solutions for assigned requirements. The position also performs system and user acceptance testing, designs and maintains operational and analytical reports, and identifies opportunities to improve processes and reporting. Working with cross-functional teams, the BI Analyst understands business requirements and translates them into effective reporting solutions using Power BI. The role reports to the Chief of Staff, IT.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of years of experience with a High School diploma/GED.
- Ability to collaborate with business leaders at all levels to define data requests and deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability to create and produce reports, data extracts, and data analysis.
- Solid skills and experience in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong listening and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Sound decision-making abilities and judgment.
- Ability to explain decisions and their rationale to promote understanding and buy-in.

Nice To Haves
- Prior experience with data export/import, data transformation, and data delivery.
- Familiarity with the loan servicing industry.
- Proficiency in SQL Server programming.
- Experience using Power BI.
