About The Position
Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers is seeking a Behavioral Health Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our organization. The Behavioral Health Clinician serves as a member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team that includes serving a diverse patient population. Contributing to a supportive work environment in a healthcare setting with a patient-centered approach, the Behavioral Health Clinician utilize evidence-based interventions to address common mental health conditions in a behavioral healthcare setting and assist with health behavior and lifestyle modifications to improve chronic health conditions. The Behavioral Health Clinician is responsible for providing solution focused behavioral health interventions, assessments, consultation, crisis support, and brief treatment services to assist patients in managing symptoms and underlying stressors.
Requirements
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Short-term, strategic, goal-oriented therapy skills (SFBT) in a clinic or healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with current DSM and ICD Diagnosis Codes.
- Able to communicate effectively with various levels of care team across all integrated care team disciplines.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of experience in community health is preferred but not required.
